Deanne joined the Business Advisory team as an Accountant in
August 2000 and quickly progressed to BAS manager in 2005 before
moving into the role of Office General Manager in 2005. Prior to
joining Staples Rodway Deanne worked in a range of administrative
roles in commercial environments but found her real passion when
she moved to Chartered Accountancy. The work environment and team
have played a significant part in this as well. Deanne speaks
enthusiastically about the directors, staff and clients and the
fantastic opportunities saying "I've been able to grow and develop
a career and have achieved more than I ever thought I would".
As General Manager Deanne handles the firm's internal
accounting, manages the administration team, acts as facilities
manager and also serves a vital role of substitute mother and
counsellor to staff in need! As a very people oriented person
Deanne has always enjoyed relationship building and has also
continued to work with several key BAS clients along with her
internal role.
Away from her extended office 'family' Deanne enjoys spending
time with her own family - Husband Bruce and children Sarah and
Duncan - although with both now at University this can be a rare
occurrence these days. She has a passion for anything to do with
netball, either playing or watching and has been part of the office
team's social league victories. Bruce and Deanne enjoy getting out
for a bit of 'topless' driving in their MX5 and when time allows
the family love to escape to their holiday home at Kinloch where
reading, walking and relaxing are high on the agenda.
