Nick Den Heijer is a Director of Staples Rodway and leads the
Corporate Advisory division. Nick joined Staples Rodway in 1990
after beginning his career in one of the big four accounting and
advisory firms. Nick has also held a commercial position with a
large international actuarial practice.
Nick has had 20 years experience working closely with middle-market
New Zealand businesses providing commercial advice and solutions to
shareholders, boards of directors and management.
As part of working closely with middle market businesses, Nick has
developed a good understanding of family businesses and the unique
characteristics associated with the middle market family owned
enterprises.
Nick specialises in merger and acquisition advisory assignments.
He has experience in acquisitions and providing buy side lead
advisory services.
Nick also has experience in divestments and providing sell lead
advisory services including identification of purchasers and
running processes designed to maximise value for business
vendors.
Nick has a significant interest in business evolution and has
experience in succession planning for middle-market family-owned
enterprises.
Nick has experience in capital raisings and debt restructuring for
a wide variety of businesses. Nick has worked with many different
industry sectors including technology, hospitality, motor vehicles,
food and property.
